As Hillary Clinton came under increasing scrutiny for her story about facing sniper fire in Bosnia, one question that arose was whether she has engaged in a pattern of lying.

The now-retired general counsel and chief of staff of the House Judiciary Committee, who supervised Hillary when she worked on the Watergate investigation, says Hillary’s history of lies and unethical behavior goes back farther – and goes much deeper – than anyone realizes...

Zeifman said in an interview last week. “She was an unethical, dishonest lawyer. She conspired to violate the Constitution, the rules of the House, the rules of the committee and the rules of confidentiality.”

I’m not. I always felt one of her biggest lies was when she went on NBC and defended Bill regarding the Monica scandal, blamed it all on a vast rigtht wing conspiracy. When Matt Lauer asked her about the blue dress bill gave monica, her excuse was that Bill would give away the tie he was wearing.

“Hillary then removed all the Douglas files to the offices where she was located, which at that time was secured and inaccessible to the public,” Zeifman said.

Just like they raided Vince Foster's office for files after he was Arkancided..Bernie Nussbaum was in on that one too.

This story’s all true - I read the book.

The author of the book considers Hillary to be morally and ethically unfit to be president.

Wow! That’s gotta leave a mark.

The story is supposedly that she tried to hide public documents involving William Douglas’ counsel, and then claim that there was no precedent allowing the accused to have counsel at an impeachment hearing.

However, since President Johnson and numerous judges over a 200 year history all had counsel during their trials before the Senate, the critical importance given the Douglas documents seems a little odd.

How blasted scummy do you have to be as a lawyer to earn the mark of “Unethical” in a negative connotation?

Wow, Hillary hid documents in her office. Where have we seen that kind of behavior? Anybody remember the missing billing records from Rose Law Firm?

Hillary then removed all the Douglas files to the offices where she was located, which at that time was secured and inaccessible to the public,” Zeifman said. Hillary then proceeded to write a legal brief arguing there was no precedent for the right to representation by counsel during an impeachment proceeding – as if the Douglas case had never occurred.

The brief was so fraudulent and ridiculous, Zeifman believes Hillary would have been disbarred if she had submitted it to a judge.

Zeifman says that if Hillary, Marshall, Nussbaum and Doar had succeeded, members of the House Judiciary Committee would have also been denied the right to cross-examine witnesses, and denied the opportunity to even participate in the drafting of articles of impeachment against Nixon.

DEMOCRATS WANT **HER** ON THE COURT?

I’m an attorney and I find that remark to be very insulting. Granted man (many many many many) attorneys are bad people. But let’s not lump us all into one group....

Eh, who am I kidding, right?

No, but I will be if this story gets legs, other than on "Right Wing Radio" and Free Republic.

E. Howard Hunt on the stand to be cross-examined by counsel to the president. Hunt, Zeifman said, had the goods on nefarious activities in the Kennedy Administration that would have made Watergate look like a day at the beach – including Kennedy’s purported complicity in the attempted assassination of Fidel Castro.

"E. Howard Hunt [at the time with the CIA, I believe], later convicted for taking part in Watergate, told a congressional committee that President Johnson himself ordered [the CIA to spy on Goldwater], and the FBI, which bugged Goldwater's campaign plane (Robert Mardian discovered this several years later in the Internal Security Division in the Nixon Administration. When he asked J. Edgar Hoover, Hoover blankly replied, 'You do what the President of the United States tells you to do.')"

If I remember correctly LBJ and Hover were good friends and were neighbors when LBJ was a Senator.

See also, Johnson’s "Watergate"

LBJ, unlike Nixon, didn't cover up -- he didn't have to! NOBODY in the MSM bothered to say anything about it!

Zeifman has been a vocal critic of the Clintons since 1992.

The MSM, however, has never given him the time of day...
