It's a Vietnam era warplane. There was one in the China collection that to my eye looked identical.

The aircraft that you think is a ‘Phantom’ design is a Shenyang F-8 ‘Finback’. It first entered service in the late 1960s. It is based on a Soviet design and esentially a scaled up MiG. It was an F-8 ‘Finback’ that collided with the U.S. Navy EP-3 forcing it to land on Hainan Island.
