FR’s armchair Generals don’t want to hear that kind of Billy Mitchell talk. To them, the F-22 will rule the skies for the next five decades - end of story. ;)
The F-22 is an awesome plane and will be unchallenged in the skies for sometime. However, with advancements in nanotechnology, the next generation will pull G’s heretofore unimagined in combat flight. As such, that generation will be unmanned (human beings, even with highly sophisticated pressurized suits, will be unable to tolerate the performance). That is the future of combat aviation.
