This kind of fake sob story is not just typical of Clinton, it is typical of all leftists. There is a saying, “Hard cases make bad law.” Our system has historically worked pretty well, so if the left can’t find a real “hard case” to justify their bad law, they invent them.
The “sob stories” told the court in Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton are prime examples. Abortion rights people have consistently invented sob stories in abortion cases. It is a scandal. Rigoberto Menchu is another.
This fake hospital story is just the latest example.
They have been playing spots on the radio in the Detroit area which are basically: “We need health care reform. Send us your sob story.”
