One of the cable shows had the originator of the story on over the weekend. Supposedly, a deputy sheriff. The guy looked like he would breech the scales at about 450 lbs...

Have you seen the original video of the deputy relating the story to Hillary?
He tells her the hospital demanded $100 before treating her. Then he says something like: “She didn’t have $100...they had to bill her a couple of times for it”.
Huh? Why would they be billing her if she was turned away with no treatment?
Anyone else hear this?

Until this story broke, I didn't even know that Meigs county had sheriff's deputies. A few years ago, Meigs county had so little money that they just laid off the sheriff's department. I didn't know they had hired them back (must've passed a levy or something)
At any rate, I would imagine that a Meigs county deputy sheriff gets paid about the same as a typical Wal-Mart employee. I wouldn't expect a lot of quality in the workforce. Other than the marijauna industry, Meigs county isn't known for a lot of crime anyway. (Pomeroy, Ohio is the Meigs county seat)
