U.S., Israel concerned N. Korean nuclear know-how reached Iran

The United States and Israel seek to pressure North Korea to cease its nuclear cooperation with Iran, which is one of the motives behind their agreement to disclose details on the air-force strike in Syria last September. According to foreign press reports, the strike targeted a nuclear installation built with North Korean assistance.
According to information obtained by Washington and Jerusalem, North Korea transferred technology and nuclear materials to Iran to aid Tehran's secret nuclear arms program.
U.S. and Israeli officials agreed last week that the talks between the U.S. and North Korea, scheduled to take place in Singapore tomorrow, should be used to pressure Pyongyang to disclose its nuclear cooperation with countries in the Middle East. As a pressure tactic, U.S. officials could reveal details of North Korea's cooperation with Syria to Congress. Advertisement
Foreign news sources reported that in addition to helping Syria build the nuclear facility that Israel attacked, North Korea sent engineers and various materials to the site. Israel and the U.S. fear that Pyongyang could be doing even more to boost Iran's nuclear program.

Ping!
ping.
Not really surprising.
Thanks for the ping Jet Jaguar.
I appreciate it.
Really! How many times has North Korea gone "over the red line" now since we threatened them with military action if they did so, starting four or five years ago!?? Six times? Seven times? They are like the kid who gets threatened with a spanking, but he keeps it up because, well, he never gets a spanking and he knows his parents are paper tigers.
They know we are not going to do jackshit, except complain a little bit in some comfortable diplomat's salon in Asia, and then all break for snacks and beers and karaoke afterwards. What a sham.
In this case, I think it is the Israelis who are going to deliver the spanking at the end of the day. It is obvious we are not going to do anything.
You’ve summed it up nicely FRiend.
btw, check out Tiger’s tagline, I love it! LOL
North Korea is closer to a nuclear bomb than Iran.
North Korea has missiles that can reach the US, Iran doesn’t.
Yet for some reason, the US keeps insisting - thru words and actions - that is considers Iran an active threat, and North Korea relatively harmless.
Why?!
You’d think there was some kind of Axis of Evil or something.
“The United States and Israel seek to pressure North Korea to cease its nuclear cooperation with Iran”
A waste of time, money, and their breath
Duh!? Like I had to wait 8 years and spend millions of dollars to figure this out?
Thank you for the ping.
