Re my post #46: Click on your ‘posts to you’, there should be a ‘clear pings’ option. Click on that and that will fix ya.

I am not a geek either, so--

I left click on "New posts to you" and I get the "New posts to you" page. I right click and get the normal options from 'Open' down to 'Properties' but NO ‘clear pings’ option.

Now, tell me, where in the heck is this ‘clear pings’ option you say I am to click on and fix it?

AND Re: ‘Mark All as Read’ is just another step one has to remember to take.

Yes, IF, I repeat IF, one (not a geek) knows where this magical ‘Mark All as Read’ option IS?????

Go back to your forum page. Click on ‘Account’ at the very top of the page, then ‘My Preferences’. Scroll down to the section ‘Pings’ and select ‘Automatic’.

Once this is done, the ‘New Posts to You’ feature will begin acting as it always had.
