While I can somewhat agree with your premise, I personally am fed up with the PC crap. WE call our own daughters “monkey” and many other names on occasion.
While in this PC world, calling black children “monkeys” when they are climbing a tree would seem innocent, nothing is any more. Rather depressing thought.
Anyone who have ever been exasperated while trying to control kids doing dangerous things knows exactly what this is about.
I view this a glimpse into the self-righteous culture that the nation would be subjected to under an Obama administration. Any innocent comment would be punishable if anyone, for any reason, decided to take offense to it.
It would be hard to people to communicate anything any more without having to think through if anyone might be offended by an innocuous remark.
The government would control language down to the level of each word.
