Its nothing new that the American news media, complete with starry-eyed ideologues, want to be a part of the possible history a Barack Obama presidency would be. They see it as a national historical vindication, an erasure of racism past, and it would be a damn good story.
Thus, the media has been correctly accused of being in the tank for the Obama campaign, lobbing him softball questions, and overlooking questionable comments made by the candidate, his wife, his acquaintances, and his staff. However, the latest tactic implemented by ABC News is nothing less than shameless, and this with an agenda-driven story offered up by those who have no shame.
ABC News reporterette Martha Raddatz, in her latest column Surprising Political Endorsements By U.S. Troops, exploits a traditional practice of the soldier: complaining.

All of them should move their headquarters to Overland Park KS and get the real deal viewpoint instead of that goof ball New Yawk perspective.
Murtha Raddatz is a cool-aid drinking lemming shill for the dems. She has no legitimate claim to objectivity.
Bullshit. So what Parks is trying to say is any serviceman who does not support McCain is violating Article 88?
Elect Obama and Vince Foster will walk again.
“ABC’s Shameless Troop Politicization”
I agreed with the thought that ABC was politicizing the troops in the beginning. But after reading their coverage I realized they were only reporting what some of the troops were thinking, and it made me remember that the troops interviewed were only regurgitating the propaganda of the left.
It’s Obama that has politicized our troops. And he’s doing something very few people have ever done without being called a traitor:
He is destroying the morale of some of our weaker minded troops, and revitalizing the morale of AQI and Iran.
I read the article a couple of days ago and most of the soldiers interviewed wanted Obama because they wanted to come home and not do their tour of Iraq.
What are these young men and women thinking when they enlist? Don’t they realize we are at war and they are more than likely to be sent to Iraq?
I wonder why ABC couldn’t find any soldiers who supported McCain.
No. What I am saying is that Raddatz shouldn’t be interviewing soldiers in the first place, regardless of their presidential preference.
Any of you remember al Jazzeera interviewing disgruntled insugents, pissed off at their leaders? They don’t because such propaganda is counterproductive to their war effort.
Maybe we can learn something from the enemy.
What makes you think they didn't find any?
Not freedom of speech or freedom of the press apparently.
