This is a perfect opportunity for you to show us just how great a teacher you really are. Volunteer to take the little misguided waif in and make her a solid citizen.

This child needs a boot camp, reform school, or prison (Actually, I am reminded of Anne Sullivan who had to "domesticate" Helen Keller before she could teach her anything.) What this child really needs would put a teacher in jail if a teacher in a school or homeschool setting applied it. The child is still on the feral stage and needs to be tamed.

Heck I will even spring for the bus ticket.

I do believe that in this post I have suggested that Christians rescue the "good" children who would benefit from a Christian school. As explained in the above paragraph the rest need boot camp, reform school, or prison. These feral children are not in a position to benefit from schooling at this point. In the setting of boot camp, reform school, or prison, yes, Christians could work to help them. "Schooling" though would be of little value at this point, in my opinion.

What do you say, ready to put your money where your mouth is?

My husband and I DO put our **money** on the line. We give 10% of our income in tithing, and an additional 1% to our church scholarship fund. If every Christian in this nation would do that every child in our nation ( possible) the world could enjoy a conservative Christian education, if their parents wanted it.

In addition to tithing and the 1% to the scholarship fund, we also give 1% to the missionary fund. Bring families to Christ strengthens these families and indirectly makes it more likely that the child will be academically successful.

Lets see what two things have we learned from your reply?

1) YOU are a hypocrite, Little Miss home schooling is the greatest thing since sliced bread thinks a child is better off in prison then in school- Hey don't you compare schools to prison on a regular basis?

2) YOUR positions don't hold water- How many times have you said that homeschooling is the answer for "all" of the education systems woes. Now you say that it won't work in this case.

Might be time to come of you high and mighty pedestal and rethink your position, and be a little kinder to those of in the trench doing the job you can't/ won/t do.
