Saudi Cleric Muhammad Al-Munajid Warns: Freedom of Speech Might Lead to Freedom of Belief
MEMRI TV ^ | Mar. 30, 2008

Posted on 04/10/2008 3:32:52 PM PDT by Alouette

Muhammad Al-Munajid: Some of these heretics say: "Islam is not the private property of anyone." So what do they want? They say: "No sect has a monopoly on Islam." So what do they want? They say: "We want to issue rulings." Someone who is ignorant, who does not know any Arabic, or who has no knowledge of Islamic jurisprudence wants to issue rulings?! They say: "We reinterpret the texts." There is a very dangerous conspiracy against the religion of Islam in newspapers and in what these people say. A journalist, or one of those lowlifes, wants to... These people are a mixture of Western, local, and imported ideologies, but they want to express their views with regard to religious rulings. This is the prerogative of religious scholars, not of ignorant people, the prerogative of knowledgeable people, not of fools or heretics.

[...]

The problem is that they want to open a debate on whether Islam is true or not, and on whether Judaism and Christianity are false or not. In other words, they want to open up everything for debate. Now they want to open up all issues for debate. That's it. It begins with freedom of thought, it continues with freedom of speech, and it ends up with freedom of belief.

They’re scared crapless that there will be lots of repeats of what happened with Pope Benedict and that former Muslim.

Freedom of belief? Whoever heard of such a thing? This shows the “thought” process of these demented medievel turds. The
world would be better off if Saudi Arabia became a sea of glass.

It begins with freedom of thought, it continues with freedom of speech, and it ends up with freedom of belief.

He says it like it was a bad thing.

A condemnation of free speech for the exact reason others revere it.

He’s right in his twisted sense of religion. The freedom of thought, speech and belief can be very dangerous indeed. Keep them in the dark. It’s much easier to get the people to blow themselves up in the name of allah.

Another fine example of Islam, the religion of peace.

"We reinterpret the texts."

They need to eliminate the texts. These are not subject to “reinterpretation”

Sura (2:191-193) - "And slay them wherever ye find them, and drive them out of the places whence they drove you out, for persecution of Muslims is worse than slaughter of non-believers...and fight them until persecution is no more, and religion is for Allah."

Sura (5:33) - "The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His messenger and strive to make mischief in the land is only this, that they should be murdered or crucified or their hands and their feet should be cut off on opposite sides or they should be imprisoned; this shall be as a disgrace for them in this world, and in the hereafter they shall have a grievous chastisement"

Sura (8:12) - "I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them"

Bukhari (52:177) - Allah's Apostle said, "The Hour will not be established until you fight with the Jews, and the stone behind which a Jew will be hiding will say. "O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me, so kill him."

Tabari 7:97 The morning after the murder of Ashraf, the Prophet declared,"Kill any Jew who falls under your power."

Ibn Ishaq: 327 - “Allah said, ‘A prophet must slaughter before collecting captives. A slaughtered enemy is driven from the land. Muhammad, you craved the desires of this world, its goods and the ransom captives would bring. But Allah desires killing them to manifest the religion.’”

"Saudi Cleric Muhammad Al-Munajid Warns: Freedom of Speech Might Lead to Freedom of Belief"

And that is what scares the mullah mafia above all else.

That and TRUTH.

Arabic isn't required to understand what Mohammads Koranic sura's and Mohammad's hadith say and mean.
Niether were written in Arabic exclusively, or even originally. Regardless, the purpose of ALL languages is to communicate meaning, and the meaning of Islam is the same in any language. It's an evil, disgusting cult invented by an evil man who was a murderer, a pedophile, a rapist and thief, who simply proclaimed himself to be a prophet of a rock god named Allah, which was the chief rock diety worshipped by his pagan multiple rock idol worshipping tribe.

Driven by greed and feeling that he was cheated from being the next in line in ownership of the money making rock idol cult which was actually invented by his grandfather, not Mohammad as many think; Who traded a lute of wine and a whistle for the black peice of meteorite while on a journey to a trading center. This black rock is now known, as it was then by Mohammads pagan tribesmen- as Allah.

This FACT is very hard for Muslims to dispute, because much of the Koran's early Sura's are the arguments between Mohammad and his pagan rock worshiping tribesmen, Who called their black rock diety "Allah", and said things like "by Allah Mohammad, we will not worship your god, Ar-Rahman!", which was what Mohammad had first named his god, since the pagan Arabs were already using the name "Allah".

The Name "Allah" is itself a contraction of Syriac words meaning "the god most high" (So Allah's name isn't even Arabic.)

The Ka aba ( a loose, unmortared pile of unhewen rocks with no roof in which various rock idols were housed, along with the only watering hole for many miles) is "Allah's house", which traders for miles around came and left offerings to, and pay for the mirky, foul tasting water for themselves and their camels, "Special" rock idol blessed Zam-Zam water was sold ( which was merely goat milk and honey sweetened water Mohammads grandfather sold to passers by). In Mecca, where nothing grows (still doesn't) the only reason anyone stopped there was for water. This Ka' aba, the rock god house, was the only source of income, a perverbial gold mine in those days.

Because Mohammads father died, He felt he was next in line to be owner of the Ka'aba and the wealth it and the trade from travelers passing by brought, not his uncle, which is who his grandfather passed ownership to.

Mohammads tribesmen eventually became tired of Mohammads silly rantings and attempts to pass himself off as a prophet, so they threw him out of Mecca.

Mohammad traveled to Medina where he hooked up with a bunch of starving thieves, became bandits who murdered robed, raped and enslaved.

Now having an army of cut throat murderous bandits, Mohammad returned to mecca and slaughtered his own tribe, taking possesion of the prize- the Ka'aba. He smashed all the idiols except for the "Allah" rock, and the final version of Islam was born.

The rest of his life was making up rules to keep his bandits faithful and murdering, robing, raping, which was all fine and dandy to Mohammada imaginary god.

There is no question as to Islam being a false religion, which is why these Shieks and mullahs want to silence free speach. If the illiterate captives of Islam were to read and learn what "Islaminc scripture" actually says, Islam would collapse and die like it should.

This reminds me of the joke in “1984” that Lenina was only a rebel from the waste down.
The only freedom liberals consistently uphold is sexual.

Freedom of thought followed by Freedom of speech leading to Freedom of belief is something that the Imams don’t DARE allow. If these three FREEDOMS take root the Imams are toast & they know it.

Did you mean "from the waist down"?

Lenina was a character in Brave New World, not 1984. I don't recall 1984 has having any jokes in it.
