Oh, I have been there so don't presume I haven't.

I have also been where Terri was and know what she went through.

I win.

Autopsy? The coroner/me was a Texan, hand picked by Jeb Bush. He’d report whatever Jeb recommended. Terri laughed, cried, had PMS, recognized people. She knew bad people wanted to kill her. You don’t give disabled people any credit, do you? Are you a moonie?

Cyril Wecht was going to attend the autopsy but was DENIED. That is highly irregular. Considering the State, et al had much to hide, they couldn’t have a superior medical examiner at autopsy. IMO, they couldn’t risk a superior ME looking at Terri’s major bone trauma in her leg. I wish I knew why the entire govt was beholding to HINO. Who was he blackmailing? It had to be blackmail.

Nonsense.

In the first place, the blankets and sweating stuff is not necessary. 10 days to 2 weeks and it is over.

Second, Terri did not have the mental capacity to be terrified.

I don’t agree with the judge or the ex. One word from the ex and the family could have had their wish. The ex is a bastard.

But hysterically ranting about the terror and pain Terri suffered is totally counter productive.

My Dad and I looked at old photos from the WWI days, his college days, the roaring ‘20’s and the Great Depression. There were some persons whose names I did not know and he supplied their names. When I got ready to leave, he thanked me for bringing the old photos to his room. It was just like any other night talking with him.

The next morning, he was dead.

Terri not only had a diminished mental capacity and lacked the ability to be terrified, it is very doubtful that she felt any pain.

That does not make it right. What it means is that one should be discussing the facts if one wants to make changes.

It was because that guy on the grassy knoll was controlling the autopsy from behind the scenes.

You are full of nonsense. Stop lying about Terri. It's people like you that keep her family advocating for the disabled. You are here to misdiagnose someone you've never met, kind of the way JUDGE GREER did.

Terri was murdered. Bottom line.

Repeating to get this thread back on course.

“Once you achieve emotional distance from people who are ‘different’ from you, it is easy to look the other way while they are being killed,” he added.

And this is EXACTLY what the culture of death is trying to achieve.

You suggest the link above?

That page has a feature story advocating that children be allowed to have their life ended by medical means.

I suggest that you go to your room and take your meds.

“Cyril Wecht was going to attend the autopsy but was DENIED.”

Obviously they were trying to hide the truth, but yet too many gullible people will believe the repeated lies.

Terri Schiavo, who died in 2005 after being taken off water and food at her husband’s request, received electrode implants but they were not successful, according to The Inquirer.

Oh really? That’s not what Michael Schiavo said.
The brain stimulator implant was a success,
said her husband, Mike.

Terri was improving before her treatment was criminally halted by Michael Schiavo.

Oh yes, you mean this famous Cyril Wecht

http://crime.about.com/b/2006/01/23/dr-cyril-wecht-celebrity-coroner-indicted.htm

Or maybe you meant to refer to this Cyril Wecht?

http://mcadams.posc.mu.edu/medical.htm#wecht

I told you it was all because of the guy on the grassy knoll. I’ll bet he was going to shoot them if they allowed the good doctor to attend.

No wonder they would not let him in.

Has he been on Fox lately?

Come on, you can do better than that.

Do you think the deathbots would allow ANYBODY to observe the autopsy?

Also, did you also know that an autopsy can’t tell whether or not a person is PVS?

Here’s another of many, many examples which shows that the deathbots didn’t want the truth to get out about Terri:

http://www.cnsnews.com/pdf/2003/bushnell.pdf

THIS shows that Michael Schiavo, and his antilife friends, DID NOT want the truth to get outabout Terri’s cognitive abilities. Terri was severely brain damaged, but NOT brain dead.

Quotes from Bob Schindler (Terri’s dad)

“Long before and during the malpractice trial, you made a number of commitments to Mary and myself. One of your commitments was that award money was to be used to enhance Terri’s medical and neurological care.”

BOB SCHINDLER: And after the money came in, it was maybe two months after that, and I confronted him and asked him when are you going to begin Terri’s rehabilitation? And he told me to mind my own business. Now, he had, you know, promised that before. So it was a complete change. And that was the onset of the problem.

“Jackie Rhoades, testified at the 1996 guardianship hearing that she knew Terri was being abused, that she frequently saw her with bruises on her arms and legs, and that Terri was afraid of Michael. Jackie further stated that Terri intended to divorce Michael, and that she and Terri were making plans to get an apartment together. Also, Terri’s brother Bobby also testified to his knowledge of Terri’s abuse, and corroborated much of Jackie’s testimony.”

Euthanized is a euphemism ... Terri was murdered by the State through the decree of a judge lacking authority to order an execution ,and a feckless governor who lacked the humanity to step in and protect the most vulnerable citizen in Florida of that month. And not much has changed down there since.

That story was dated February 2001.

What was the evaluation 4 years later?

I don't know why so many people wallow in the misery of this poor woman's condition when the real question is: Regardless of her condition, whether improved or not, does an ex husband and a moron judge have the moral right to deny her family their request to care for her.

That is the question because regardless of her condition, which could have been much better or much worse as some other poor soul will surely be now or in the future, it needs to be possible for that person to be cared for by whomever desires to do so, whether a family member or anyone else.

Denying life to a person, regardless of how well or miserable they might be, for the convenience of some, against the wishes of others, is not defensible ethically, morally, religiously or in any other manner, especially when others are anxious and willing to care for that person.

“Regardless of her condition, whether improved or not, does an ex husband and a moron judge have the moral right to deny her family their request to care for her.”

I agree with that.

Also, Michael SAID that Terri would want to die, but he just said that because HE wanted her to die.

According to Cindy Shook, Michael’s girlfriend 1 1/2 years after Terri was hurt, Michael Schiavo said:

“How the hell should I know we never spoke about this, my God I was only 25 years old. How the hell should I know? We were young. We never spoke of this.”

View my favorite video of Terri. She laughs when her dad reminds her of when she used to tease her mother, and roll her eye (Terri had “lazy eye”).

Then go to Post #28 & click the link.

Keep in mind when Terri makes sounds, she is attempting to talk, but needs therapy in order to talk. Even without therapy, Terri could say a few words. Sadly, Michael wouldn’t allow her to have ANY kind of therapy.

I remember that. I never could figure out what was driving them. It was like it had become personal to them.

...debated ad nauseum. There is nothing left to be gained...

As a matter of fact, Terri is already resting in the peace of God's loving embrace and cannot be caused any further harm by recognition of the evil that caused her death...
No, we will never forget what happened to Terri Schiavo because there lessons to be learned and accountabilities which still must be held. Terri was a martyr for the cause of the sanctity of human life.
No one calls for abandonment of the memory of Martin Luther King, John F. Kennedy, Abe Lincoln and others who have been murdered.
