I was stumped on this too. But if you right click on the thread title. Select ‘properties’ from the dropdown list. You’ll see the number in there. At least that’s where I found it...maybe there’s another way.

At least thats where I found it...maybe theres another way.It depends how your browser is configured. It appears on my Firefox screen in two places: The address bar and the status bar. No need to right click on anything. It's just there.

When you hover your mouse over the thread title you should see number in the URL line at the bottom left of the browser window. This works in Firefox, Safari or Internet Explorer. (Opera will give you the url in a tool tip text box if you hover long enough.)
