Just wondering when we get the big surprise a la India, Pakistan and N. Korea where one day we wake up to a successful test of the weapons that are still five years off.
I hope they do build one and launch it at someone. We’ll spool up a dozen Minuteman ICBM’s and return the favor. No more worrying about trying to establish a democracy in a Middle East country like we struggle with in Iraq. Iran will be easy to occupy because it will be a wasteland....

- Ignore by not reporting on it in public press releases or in press briefings, as a politician don't talk about it, don't mention it in threat briefings within the ministries of defense..........
- Downplay the significance by saying they don't have many; it'll take a while before they have it, that the payload is low......
- Smooth over in claiming it's for peaceful purposes, that they aren't really the enemy; that we can talk to them.......
LOL, if I still lived in Europe, and I don't thank God, I'd be shaking in my boots. The Russians at least were predictable and not suicidal. Most Europeans are too stupid and live in a denial of reality which gives them some feeling of safety. They think the Cold War is over, and they see the threats in the Middle East as somehow contained and not pertinent to them.
Several years ago Iran was shooting things into orbit. The purpose of this was to demonstrate and test the engineering and technology of orbital mechanics. Iran’s intent has all along been the development of a long range missile (Missile has a guidance system vs. rocket which does not) and nuclear yield weapon. Near all these tin-pot rouge states have been trying to go down that road! North Korea, Libya, Iraq, Iran, Cuba………Hell, in 1986 Libya fired missiles at Italy, missing the intended targets and landing in the Mediterranean already in the late 80s the trend was known. The goal of the rouge state has been for years to develop these military instruments since they give them a strike capability even though they would never be able to project force with land forces into these regions. The whole goal of the rouge state in developing a long range missile is to be able to hold it over the head of Western states such as in Europe particularly. This is insane, since most Europeans don’t even perceive this reality for what it is!
Most Europeans while thinking they are cosmopolitan actually think provincially. There is no strategic vision among the people or even respective governments in Europe outside economic realms. In security matters, most of Europe thinks in terms of “their back yard,” with the Balkans already extending to the outer reaches of their universe.
Over time, since the West has chosen inaction (An irrational decision regards Iran), the only viable defense we have is missile defense and policing within the sovereign boundaries of our nations. The most dangerous aspect of this entire problem is that no one wants to see the problem and danger. This allows the problem to grow and fester, spiraling out of control.

Clever B-turds. Develop the missle 1st, then hit the Israelis down the raod. They probably figure they can back off the world from doing anything since all the Euro cities will all be in range of their nuke tipped missles when they hit the Israelis.
