I think he does want her to win. It would sort of salvage his legacy and add them as “firsts” to the history books. First woman president; first husband/wife team
Bubba’s EGO is so large .. I personally don’t think he wants her to have the same title as he has: “former president”.
I’m basing this on his overall treatment of women - in general - not just his disrespectful treatment of his wife.
