About ten years ago, I worked with a young man from Ukraine who had come to America, joined the Marines and subsequently gained his citizenship. Judging by him, I’d say there’s probably no better way to create new Americans than a stint in the USMC.

Just saw on the news tonite that 200 soldiers representing 71 countries were sworn in as American citizens today.
