I believe it’s worth a try. It’s a longshot but no ones ever going to unseat Murtha if no one runs against him.

I’ve still got the Irey ping list, which I’m sure you do too, maybe we could get support for Russell from some of them.

I agree, Jaz. Before we launch an effort, we need to get our ducks in a row. One thing for now that concerns me, is that there's to little info available on the Russell campaign.

I'll do some digging. It would not be fair to ask freepers to help Russell unless we can show he is worthy of their effort.

I just sent the link to the article in post 17 to our son, a Marine. He moved to PA with his wife in November(her family lives there). He is planning on voting (for the first time) in the upcoming primary. I don’t know if he lives in Murtha’s district or not - but thought I’d at least pass along the information.
