56% Disagree with Obama’s Comments on Small Town America
Rasmussen Reports ^ | April 14, 2008

Fifty-six percent (56%) of voters nationwide disagree with Barack Obama’s statement that people in small towns “cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations." A Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey found that just 25% agree with the Democratic frontrunner while 19% are not sure. Partisan and ideological differences suggest that the comments are more likely to be a factor in the General Election than in the Primaries.

Either the demographics of the poll or the wording is producing 19% who are not sure. I bet that a large percentage of those 19%, if they heard Obama say it at the meeting where he said these things, would be much more sure of their distaste.

I believe a good 75%+ Americans have significant problems with the bastardly arrogance displayed by Obama to rural Americans, their rights, and their religion.

I never, ever thought that any candidate could possibly be more disgusting than Slick Hillie.

Having said that,,,Senator B. (whose middle name must NEVER be spoken) Obama has done the impossible--and made Slick Hillie look ALMOST middle of the road (if that is even possible)!

If you want to further divide this country on racial AND class lines,,,,

a disgusting far-left elitist liberal, and an arrogant racist and condescending Marxist like Obama,,,,

with his blatantly black racist 'close friend', mentor, pastor and 'spiritual advisor....

and his angry, bitter, anti-American wife,,,

ARE THE RIGHT PEOPLE AT THE RIGHT TIME!!!

It's also the same 25% who believe that they've been abducted by Martians.

It's the true believers, who would support Obama if he announced tomorrow that anyone opposing his programs will be shipped to re-education camps. They were out in force today, on the talk shows, spinning like whirling dervishes and in just about the same mental state. Some I heard were so tortuous in their rationalizations I actually felt pity for the fools.
