As I recall too, Hildy was all pro-Michael Schiavo in 2005.

She is just sore because they killed the Jews I guess. Too bad that she could not of chose a wiser path in order to prevent that sort of stuff in the future. Instead she is promoting it.

If you're so sure you're right, why do you even care what I think?

Basically, I just don't want you to spread the disease that you have.

I can’t say enough that one of the reason people wave your side off is because your arguments weigh all on emotion and sanctimonious attitudes. Whenever I attempt to have a discussion about different ways the anti-abortion movement could progress, I’m always attacked.

I’ll say it just one more time. Although this isn’t as important an issue me as it is to you guys I have always respected the passion and commitment you bring to it. When I discuss things with you, it’s to show you that the way you discuss this issue will be the key in getting what you want. When I see you getting off the mark, I call you on it. I’M YOUR TARGET...I’m the person you’re trying to convince...and when your words turn me off, I’m going to tell you...You don’t change hearts and minds by telling people they’re horrible murdering racists who will burn in hell. The way you frame your arguments is the key to ending abortions.

Oh my gosh...I didn’t mean YOU personally. Stop being so angry all the time and start thinking about what would be best for your cause. By the way, that last sentence WAS aimed at you personally.

My apologies. I see where on March 17th of this year McCain agreed to keep the Republican pro-life platform.

However, in August of 1999, he made a statement to the contrary. You are right, I should have check my facts.

No problem. I’m voting for McCain...mostly because I cannot tolerate the alternative.

“I’ll say it just one more time...to equate abortion and racism is ridiculous. That’s it.”

Dr. King said abortion and racism share the same root. She didn’t equate them to one another. That would be ridiculous.

But OTOH, there is a connection between racism and abortion. Have you seen http://blackgenocide.org?

And yet, you continue pushing that propaganda, expecting a different result.

Why don't you try a fresh approach, and respond to posts 77 thru 81?

I think Hildy's problem with Dr. King's statement might be because of Hildy's pro-abortion position.

I can see how an abortion supporter who is not a racist might be offended to see the two compared.

Pardon the typo. That should be posts 76 through 81. I’m particularly interested in hearing how you find abortions something to laugh about.

“I can see how an abortion supporter who is not a racist might be offended to see the two compared.”

The article clearly doesn’t equate abortion and racism. Dr. King is simply pointing out that the two share the root of selfishness, which is very thoughtful insight. The article is pro-life, which is the real reason a pro-abortionist would take offense.

I understand that, but there are a few pro-abortion types still on FR and they seem to take everything out of context.
