NEW YORK - First lady Laura Bush will be "guest host" for an hour of NBC's "Today" show next week.

The network said she'll host the 9 a.m. EDT hour April 22, the morning of the Pennsylvania primary. By that time in the four-hour morning show, politics is usually set aside for issues that affect women, who make up the majority of the audience during that time period.

Mrs. Bush will participate in several segments and interviews, NBC said Tuesday.

Five minutes into her hour they'll likely cut to a 55-minute car chase...

Not sure about that, but some sort of “editorial accident?” Probably.

Laura is a strong, confident Lady. And I mean "Lady" in every sense of the word compaired to most women on television, in politics, and in the headlines nowadays. I don't think most women even know the difference, they have come so far from being ladylike with their attack mentalities, shouting to make their points, talking over people, cursing, and disgusting habits of exagerating and lying to try and promote themselves or their "VIEWS." (ala those on THE VIEW). I suspect she is well-aware of the possibilities of what tricks those on the "Today" might try to make her appear less than what she truly is. But, she can hold her own. She is a charming, well-spoken, educated and honorable woman. She will shine, no matter how hard anyone tries to tarnish her image. And, appearing on the Today show just proves she is no coward to face her detractors!

We are proud of you Laura, you are one of the few women left in the world who can be truly admired because you have held onto strong moral virtues and values and you represent the beauty of womanhood.

I’d love to see her on The View (I might even have to watch it) to take on the old hags.

Laura Bush is composed and tough. No one will set her up the bomb.
