>>Did President Bush say anything about us single Fathers?<<

Did anyone notice the shift in our culture in the 1970’s.

In the 1960’s we had “The Courtship of Eddies Father”, “Family Affair”, My Three Sons, Etc. Can you think of a single show that dealt with a single mother?

But Then came the 70’s and beyond. Lots and LOTS of shows about single parents - all mothers.

I believe it IS a conspiracy, but I believe “...our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” - Ephesians 6: 12

No-fault divorce is crippling our nation. And with the credit meltdown it will skyrocket.

The Big Valley and Julia, but there are always exceptions to the rule.

The 80's were the worst for single dad shows. They became revisionist shows, where the Dads take the backseat or a "who's taking care of whom" idea is put forth. Show like I'm a Big Girl Now, Father Murphy, Silver Spoons, Who's the Boss?, Gimme A Break!, Dads, My Two Dads, Full House, Empty Nest, The Hogan Family, etc.
