As damning is this information is, I don't think it is the underlying reason the Dems screamed so loudly that the captured documents be pulled off the internet.
Once the meticulous nature of Saddam's record keeping became apparent the Dems started sweating that at some point the names of prominent Democrat members of Congress or donors would be mentioned.

The Democrats in Congress have know this forever as well but have intentionally lied about it on the expectation that the truth would never see the light of day.
The table has been set for the Republicans to absolutely destroy the Democrats in the Congressional elections. I doubt, however if they possess the stones required to play hardball.
