Maya was appointed poet lauriet for the US by the Clintons —right??? So she is just another Clintanoid coming to Hillary’s rescue as the the IOUs are called in.
BTW Hillary’s mast significant contribution to literature beyond her Commie undergrad thesis is her taunting catch phrase ..”woulda, coulda, shoulda”.
Oh how I hope we get to cite back to her this year.
I had the pleasure of chatting with a dude who shook hands with her yesterday. He was one of 15 or so pre-selected questioners. On the one hand, he appreciated the fact that she made the effort to learn all their names. OTOH, the woman is exhausted, massive circles under both eyes, looks a lot more worn out in person than on the tube.
Leon Panetta speaking about Clintonistas defecting to Barack:
These are people that the Clintons gave an opportunity to serve, said Mr. Panetta, speaking generally. They helped give them the titles they now have, and made them a lot of money. I think the Clintons probably feel they are owed something.
“Hillary, I love you, I always have and I always will, and I felt so sorry for you when, you know, Bill had his affair,” said the woman, drawing gasps.
“And I know nobody wants to talk about it, but I felt very sorry,” she said over the din. “But I think now the best way to overcome it is to become president.”
Amid scattered applause and a few cheers, Angelou said: “Thank you. That’s a statement, that’s not a question.”

Maybe Hillary has confused her with Aunt Jemimah.
Hey Maya, Iron Hillary's shirt.
It depends upon what one's definition of basis is. ; )
“Maybe Hillary has confused her with Aunt Jemimah. Hey Maya, Iron Hillary’s shirt.”
Now now, if you don’t have anything nice to say,...come sit by me.
The “popularity” of some of society’s real a$$hxxxx - simply proves the power of MSM Leftist propaganda....
1st thing I thought of before even clicking on the title was the David Alan Grier skit when he played Maya Angelou writing a poem about Froot Loops.
