Bush, while continuing the trade policy, has at least beefed up our military readiness and stance as opposed to China. we have significantly more assets there in the WESTPAC now, pointed right at China and they know it.

I believe planners...and hopefully ultimately policy makers...are aware of the growing, abject threat China poses.
