The whole story sounds fishy. Interns are hired by someone and referred by someone. The person who hired her would be known and would be a Republican. The person referring her could have been a Dim, but the person hiring them would know who referred her. Whitehouse internships are VERY difficult to get and involve heavy background screening too. I’ll check snopes.
