It goes without saying that climate realists around the world believe Nobel Laureate Al Gore used false information throughout his schlockumentary "An Inconvenient Truth" in order to generate global warming hysteria.
On Friday, it was revealed by ABC News that one of the famous shots of supposed Antarctic ice shelves in the film was actually a computer-generated image from the 2004 science fiction blockbuster "The Day After Tomorrow."

I saw that on TV. Very interesting. It seems that the producers of the movie had no idea at first. Sounds like copyright infringement to me.

One doesn't even have to look past the movie poster to see the deceptions being created. It shows smokestacks billowing out "pollution" into the form of a hurricane. Of course, CO2 is colorless, but whatever....BBAAAAHHHHHH.

I really hope some of the parents whose children have been subjected to this propaganda flick in public schools can use this to sue the school districts. In addition to prohibiting it from being shown in schools in the future, they should seek a ruling that all the children now have to be told that the film used fake video footage to try to convince them that its alarmist message was true.

I've been "boycotting" Google since they went dark for "Earth Hour".
Actually, it's not so much of a boycott, as the darkened screen was so lousy to read. I switched over to Yahoo instead, and haven't bothered to switch back. Yahoo does everything that I want.
I'm sure that they're missing the few dozen or so hits that I generated each week. I'm expecting a call from their CEO begging for my business back. /sarc

So the Albore “documentary” (i.e., schlockumentary) relied upon FAKED images to depict a purportedly actual event that is totally mis-represented in the film.
That’s called fraud Mr. Gore.
“fake and inaccurate” is the new MSM motto.

LOL! I had to watch that movie for a part of a class about the apocalypse, but we also watched a zombie movie and something else with spaceships for the same part of that class, so I don’t think realism was the point, just peoples’ different ideas about the way humanity or the world will come to an end.

"Michael Moore, Al Gore and Ben Stein, each producing fiction and calling it a documentary." Ben Stein? Are you referring to his movie "Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed?" If you are, I am befuddled. That movie challenges the idea that Darwinism is absolute and God had nothing to do with creation. Unless you are atheist, I am not sure how Ben Stein falls into your list...

Unless you are atheist, I am not sure how Ben Stein falls into your list... The "documentary" has used tactics similar to Michael Moore's, including having staged events and questioning under false pretense.
Its a shame no one wants to simply stick to the facts. What is considered acceptable simply depends on what "side" you are on I guess...

You do realize that you can be a Christian and still understand that that evolution exists.
However, in Ben Stein's “Expelled” he lies about Richard Steinberg being fired from the Smithsonian and uses and during a speech in the film uses an audience of actors and invited plants while claiming that the audience is made up of students at the college.
So yes, Ben Stein's Expelled is a work of fiction, just like Al Gore's film as well as Michael Moore's.

The movie poster shows a “clockwise” rotation of the steam. Hurricanes are low pressure centers and have a “counter-clockwise” rotation in the Northern Hemisphere. That is all I needed to see to infer the substance of the movie.
