The Aztlan Civil Liberties Union
Stop the ACLU ^ | 23-Apr-08 | Unknown

Everyone knows that the ACLU are advocates for illegal immigration and open borders, but this takes the cake. Via the ACLU:

In a historic agreement to pursue joint strategies to protect the human rights of migrants moving across the Mexico-United States border, the ACLU of San Diego & Imperial Counties and the Comision Nacional de Derechos Humanos today signed a document declaring common goals and principles to address the serious human rights issues.

The Memorandum of Agreement between the two organizations charges the parties jointly to explore legal actions to challenge Operation Gatekeeper and other programs that have contributed to migrant deaths, and to educate a transnational audience about the issue of human rights tragedies at the border. More than $30 billion dollars have been spent on Gatekeeper since its inception, but the program has done little to prevent illegal entries—it has simply shifted them to the mountains and deserts east of San Diego, where migrants face much harsher conditions in remote, environmentally hostile areas.

The agreement was developed in reaction to the continually mounting death toll of now more than 5,000 migrants along the border, as well as the challenge of advocating on these issues effectively from just one side of the border. With respect to abuses by federal law enforcement agencies, for example, U.S. federal agencies have acted with immunity and a complete lack of transparency.

I actually feel very sorry for the illegals who die while crossing the border. Intead of taking the easier route of running away to the US, the illegals (along with their citizens back home), must force a revolution in Mexican society and create change that’ll make them more prosperous.

Of course, by revolution, I don’t mean the ones “inspired” by thug socialists like Obama/Hugo Chavez.

“the illegals (along with their citizens back home), must force a revolution in Mexican society and create change that’ll make them more prosperous.”

....I hope it happens that way...what scares me is a violent revolution down there....they’ve had them before...any type of violent uprising could sent human waves of illegals running for the border to save their lives...they would have to be turned back at gunpoint and they might resist at gunpoint....talk about a nightmare scenario.

Shouldnt this require the ACLU to register as an agent of a foreign government?

Another fine quote to have for easy reference is from Roger Baldwin the Founder of the ACLU:

“I seek the social ownership of property, the abolition of the propertied class and sole control of those that produce wealth: Communism is the Goal”

Thanks for posting this, Jay.

The agreement calls for the organizations to host an invitation-only conference of experts in June...

Who wants to bet me that Juan Hernandez will be one of the invited "experts"?

...to meet again following the U.S. elections in November to update its plans;

Unless, by the grace of God, we have a new candidate, the meeting will be a Cabinet Meeting.

to cooperate on other lawsuits...
and to seek funding for these efforts in their respective countries.

WHEN are the American people going to stand up and say; "We are mad as hell and we aren't going to take it anymore!"?

The illegal criminal alien invasion MUST END and the taxpayers should not be funding the American Communist Liberation Unit and their causes.

More than $30 billion dollars have been spent on Gatekeeper since its inception, but the program has done little to prevent illegal entries—

Can you imagine how much good $30 billion dollars could have done in Mexico? They could have created thousands of jobs and could have kept some of them from having to come to the US to work.

The people who are running this country should be hanged as traitors!! They are destroying America. They have sold us down the river to fatten their own bank accounts!

I'm with you, but as long as it's easier for illegals to enter and change the face of US policy by simply showing up and complaining, I doubt seriously that change will ever come to Mexico.

The few native Mexicans I know love Mexico and it doesn't occur to them to change it for the better. Instead, they'd rather see things change here just to make it easier for them to work and get around.

In short, they want all the benefits of being a US citizen AND of NOT being a US citizen.

Good grief! what is that, over the last 100 years? We have stats, it’s 200 to 300 a year (yes, bad, sad) What about the thousands killed by illegal aliens every year, ACLU? Nah, you could care LESS about that!

They'll be at in Santa Ana, CA, too. The Mexicans have been selling their phony IDs at a school there, and didn't like getting caught at it.
