Santos said he picked the baby up and shook him, yelling, "Why won't you stop crying?" the affidavit said. Santod then violently threw the baby into the playpen

I can't believe that didn't stop the baby from crying.

We’re seeing far too many of these stories. And of course, Florida again. *sigh* Worthless POS...

“Why won’t you stop crying?”

Because he’s 6 months old, dumba$$. That’s what they do. Poor kid; didn’t have a chance. Some people just absolutely boggle the mind. Unwed couple too, no surprise there.

Yep, Florida again.

The bizarre stories and brutal murders and violent stories coming out of this state is alarming to say the least.

“Do it now. Please.”

Do you want to deny a lawyer his daily bread?

Why do you pollute FR with these horrific threads?

A guitar hero, no doubt.

Surely not. /s

Hey, I'm more than willing to pay the lawyer to shove the red-hot poker through this SOB's head, no problem.

But to defend this POS? What's to defend? He already confessed to murder of an innocent 6-mo old baby. Case closed.

In a sane society, he'd already be dead. Probably painfully. And that would be about right.

Sorry if I sound cranky. A dear friend just delivered a baby boy last week, a gorgeous miracle of life. The juxtaposition of that wondrous event, and this thread, has me nearly in tears.

Excuse me??? This is a worthless murderous scum POS.

What's that got to do with music?

I'm hoping I'm missing some interesting double-entendre or irony in your remark, because otherwise, as a guitarist, I'm pretty offended by your comment. Should I be? What the heck are you talking about?

Yeah, I have much the same reaction.

I think it's to remind us how far we as a nation have sunk, and how far we have to rise to get out of this mess.

In other words, "There is much to be done!"

That is, if I can stop being horrified long enough to DO something...

I think it’s the name of a popular video game.

Huh. Could be. I'm not a gamer, wouldn't know...

Last video game I played regularly was Breakout in a bar in 1978 in Philly. No kidding.

It makes me so sad to hear about good people, who would be good parents, deciding not to have children. It is a kind of reverse eugenics and one of the reasons our civilization is dying. Your future children could be the very ones who makes the difference.

If birth control were available and abortion were safe and legal, every child born would be a wanted child. Wasn’t that the promise? This was just a postnatal abortion, what’s the big deal?
