Roger Clemens carried on a decade-long affair with country star Mindy McCready, a romance that began when McCready was a 15-year-old aspiring singer performing in a karaoke bar and Clemens was a 28-year-old Red Sox ace and married father of two, several sources have told the Daily News.
The revelations could torpedo claims of an unsullied character that are central to the defamation suit Clemens filed Jan. 6 against his former personal trainer Brian McNamee. Vivid details of the affair could surface in several media projects that McCready is involved with - including a documentary that begins filming today in Nashville, a new album and a reality show.

Maybe they can have a commercial where he calls his wife to ask if he can hook up with a 15 year old, the cellphone call drops, nothing but silence as the wife is yelling at him, and Roger grabs the girl, "Let's get to the hotel room. She's soo happy she's speechless."

I am not sure if Roger could have played this whole situation any worse.

We’re gonna need pictures, and to hear from the jury.
Ladies and gentlemen of the jury: what is your vote? Guilty or not-guilty?

Remember, according to his own testimony before the House committee, Clemens let the trainer inject his wife in the butt with some type of steroid, when he, Clemens, wasn’t there..and later on, when she had an adverse reaction to the shot..didn’t take her to the doc or the ER for a week. Ya think that the wife might have had some inkling..

"Were gonna need pictures, and to hear from the jury." If these allegations are true, we're talking about Statutory Rape.
Classy.

Clemens is what, 58 now? Presumably the statute of limitations will prevent any charges for statutory rape. How having an extramarital affair proves he took steroids isn’t so clear.

notice how the newspaper plays games.
Relationship is IMPLIED to mean sex.
newspapers all have a horse in this race, they need to protect their yellow journalism.
Now if this woman comes on the stand and says they never had sex between 15-18 and the relationship as platonic, the newspaper itself is screwed. Of course if the woman has a book deal and has to imply sex to make it work then he is screwed.
Hell hath no scandal like a scandal with a book deal.

I don't know how low this can go. What puzzles me is why did he come out swing "how good a person he is" if the closet was full of skeletons. Given this I will give him the benefit of the doubt until more information is available.

Clemens has the personality of a tree stump. I’m surprised any girl could be with him for any given time, except for the $$$ maybe...
