With Two Indictments Handed Down on Celis, when is Corrupt Money Too Corrupt for Herrero, Garcia?
I just got this email. Juan Garcia got elected in 2006 by just a few hundred votes. He went to Harvard Law School with Barack Obama and has campaiged for Obama all over the country since the primary season started. Mauricio Celis just got indicted on addtional money laundering charges on Friday. It would be really great to unseat Juan Garcia (who used to go by "John" before entering politics). He's also received lots of help from former Clinton HUD Secretary Henry Cisneros and General Wesley Clark and has been earmarked as someone who could seek much higher federal office in the future.
