Indian pickle is a VERY spicy condiment used the way we use ketchup or mustard or tabasco sauce--only VERY small amounts are used because it is powerful stuff! Not the most pleasant of smells (at least to me, a non-Indian) to smell on the planet either. That is what I was referring to.
