Personally, I want a puppy that was raised on escargot and white wine....

South Park does an episode about Paris Hilton and her pets, which are constantly committing suicide, that is hilarious. I can’t see a little foo-foo dog now without imagining it struggling to pull the trigger on a revolver that it has stuck in its mouth.

I don't care how careful one is raising puppies, there are some that will develop Parvovirus because of immunological incompetence or stress. It is just a fact of life...and some cases of Parvovirus will be more lethal than other cases. This is what I read in the article....someone that could just afford a lawyer and some lawyer just soaking some rich client for some perceived affront.

I have yet to hear a coherent description of what separates a “private breeder” from a “puppy mill”. As near as I can tell, it is a term used by some private breeders to disparage other private breeders of lower socioeconomic status.

News flash to the bimbos of California:

DOGS BRED TO BE THE SIZE OF HAMSTERS WILL NOT EVER HAVE GOOD HEALTH.

Thank you. That is all.

Please get educated!! Puppy mills breed misery. Dogs caged all their lives. They have severe foot problems or cannot walk on the pads of their own feet. Heartworm prevalent and untreated. They are never touched by human hands. Sometimes dogs are shot when they are no longer useful. Females with mammary cancer. On and on. Kudos to Oprah for the show she recently did.

Not all puppy mills abuse their dogs.

How do you know? Besides puppy mills by definition are abusive. I think you mean “breeders”. Well sure let’s just breed more dogs since the number given for killing unwanted companion animals in this country is 4 million per year.

If they just have those useless, fluffy little lap dogs, let them go. If they’re pushing REAL dogs, like hounds, shepherds and bulldogs, nail em to the wall!

No, I imagine if a puppy mill adheres to the USDA guidelines they would not be considered ‘abusive’. That’s like saying all dairy farmers are abusive, or all chicken farmers are abusive.

And as for that website you posted, it’s folly. As long as people are willing to pay for puppies, they will be a commodity.
That does not give animal rights groups the moral authority to tell the rest of us what we can and can’t do with our dogs.

Unfortunately you don’t have a clue what your are talking about. No one is telling you what “to do” with your animals. Please don’t post to me again.
