I just talked to Chris and he said that Notpoliticallycorewrecked is visiting with Jim at this time.
He also said that the Doctors have decided that tomorrow Jim has to make the decision about his leg
The Doctors believe, as you stated, that it has to be removed to keep the infection from spreading.
So I imagine that is the decision he will make.
Don't worry about him getting online, he has an “air” card so he can get online anywhere.
He misses being able to read and post here tremendously naturally. This is his baby.
Good news that the swelling has gone down dramatically in his left leg and that for the first time in months he is not in pain 24 hrs a day and was able to sleep more than usual.
Chris had no idea how long he would be hospitalized, but I would imagine it will be several more days, especially if the operation on his leg is done soon.
Good advice you gave Jim, Amy.
Yes, Mama Bear don't hesitate to visit, it will be highly appreciated and encouraging to see such good friends as you and that jk I'm sure
Jim is blessed indeed to have family that are watching over him closely and taking care of his needs, getting him to the hospital and other numerous tasks
And the legion here that are pulling for him.
Thanks, Syncro...
Thanks for the update, PRAYER BUMP!!!!
Thank you for posting to this thread.
Thanks for the update, and a BTT.
Sorry to be joining the thread kinda late, but it's never too late when you're under God's eye. Jim, you know we're all pulling for ya.
Blessing to all who are attending, family, friends, and physicians -- may they all have steady hearts and hands!
Thanks for the update.
Prayers up.
Thanks so very much for your update on Jim’s progress.
Please keep us posted as much as you can.
Thanks for the update. I’m still praying.
Thanks for the update, Syncro.
Glad to know you have your laptop, Jim, and that you can get on line when you feel up to it. Lots of people are praying for you. And we are hoping to be able to come up on Sunday and see how you are doing.
I hope you get a good nights sleep and that Sheila, knowing you are in good hands, has a restful night too. :-)
“The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe”—Prov. 18:10.
Jim, the Lord is your strong tower. We are praying for the decision you must make today.
” And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.”—Phil. 4:7
He will give you peace, and wisdom to make this decision.
“God is our refuge and strength, an ever present help in trouble.”—Psalm 46:1
He will not leave you in the midst of your trial.
“So we say with confidence,”The Lord is my Helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?”—Hebrews 13:6
The Lord is in control, and He stands ready to help.
Jim, I pray for strength for today, and hope for tomorrow—listen to wise counsel, and commit your decisions to Him who is the lover of your soul. He will never leave you, nor forsake you. Nor will He try you above what you are able to endure, with His help.
Just my experience, do what you and your doctor's think best. You continue to be in my prayers.
Thanks, Syncro. Prayers continue for Jim, Sheila, family, and recovery.
I’m so sorry to hear about an amputation, but sometimes that is the only way to go, in order to heal. Very glad to hear there is less pain; praying that continues. It’s so hard to think, when you’re hurting.
God bless you, Jim, with health, peace, and comfort.
