A high school science teacher in Florida has been booted from class, a decision she claims administrators made not based on poor job performance but on her moonlighting gig as a bikini mate aboard a local charter fishing boat.

OK, I can see the school having influence on her behavior in the classroom. But, when she walks out the door at the end of the day, she’s a private citizen and not on the payroll. If she wants to moonlight in a bikini (a task which I strongly favor), that’s her business.

I must admit, back in my single days, I once dated a woman who, uh, admitted to me---after we began dating, mind you---that she used to do this sort of thing on charters off Cape Cod.
