I’m amused that you think Londoners have President Bush on their minds when they are choosing a new mayor. I don’t think they really care what any prospective mayoral candidate thinks about America, Bush or the ‘war on terror’, they care more about what they can offer London, or rather in the case of Boris, he can’t be worse Ken ‘you’re like a concentration camp guard’ Livingstone....
From what little I know of Johnson he sounds like a reformed rake and a potential future PM.
It’s my understanding that Boris isn’t especially conservative, he’s just less looney than Livingstone. Is that about right?
