"He's a unifier."

On what basis does anyone say this about Obama?

Obama is a far-Left extremist with views that are far out of the mainstream. He has insulted gun-owners, church-goers, and whites. Hispanics have not fallen in love with him.

It's conceivable that he could collect a lot of votes -- that means people give HIM what he's looking for. It says nothing about his ability to unite the country and give US anything that we want.

I consider him to be very poorly positioned to be a unifier.

There is usually a world of difference between what we “want” and what we “need”. Beware of those that promise to “give” us anything that we’ve paid for (Benefits derived from our paid taxes) as opposed to “discipline” which is what we need.

To Corizine’s(sp) credit, he is going in a new direction with the discipline need. His priorities may not be mine, but his discipline is a welcome change. Let’s hope it is the beginning of a trend.

A “unifier”??? There is not record of him ever reaching across the aisle in the IL State Senate or the U.S. Senate, no record whatsoever.
