Polls: Less-educated whites hurt Obama (crAP, "dumb white folk hurts our candidate")

A CLINTON ADVANTAGE OVER OBAMA IN NOVEMBER, THOUGH MCCAIN DOES BEST OF ALL

According to an Associated Press-Yahoo News poll in April, the certain Republican presidential nominee John McCain would get more votes than Hillary Rodham Clinton from white voters who have not finished college, 43 percent to 30 percent. Barack Obama would do even worse than Clinton, trailing McCain with this group 44 percent to 22 percent. McCain has a 23-percentage point lead against Clinton among whites who have graduated college, but just an eight-point margin over Obama with that group.

DEMOCRATIC CONTEST TAKES ITS TOLL

Obama was viewed unfavorably in April by 53 percent of whites without college degrees, up from 41 percent in November's AP-Yahoo poll. Clinton's negative ratings with that group have not really changed, but have not gotten better, either. Fifty-seven percent of these voters had unfavorable views of Clinton in November, and 55 percent did in April. McCain's negative views from them sat at 32 percent both months.

HOW RACE AND EDUCATION AFFECT THE RACE

Exit polls of voters in last month's Pennsylvania Democratic primary show the impact of racial attitudes. Forty-seven percent of whites without college degrees who said race was an important factor in choosing a candidate said they would vote for Obama in an Obama-McCain matchup, with 29 percent saying they would back McCain and 20 percent saying they would not vote. Obama gets the votes of 62 percent of whites who have not finished college who said race was not a factor.

Among white college graduates, 69 percent who said race is a factor said they would vote for Obama. Eighty-one percent who said race is not important would back him.

Just more proof that an ignorant conservative is smarter than an elite liberal.

I'd rather entrust the government of the United States to the first 400 people listed in the Boston telephone directory than to the faculty of Harvard University.

It’s extremely insulting for hard working people of all races that chose the working path to feed a family instead of a liberal college.

So what we want to do is foster more Balkanization here.
Because that is so advanced.

Where do these clown pollsters come from?

well, the stupid class is pretty much what gave us Clinton in the 90s, too, so this is not surprising. The latte liberals went along with the Clintons in the 90s because he was winning....the first time the Dem party had the White House in a long time. This time around they have a true leftist to support and they are strongly behind BHO.

They tried to sugar-coat what they really meant by writing “less-educated” but what they were trying to say is that any white person that doesn't go to college and who doesn't vote for Obama is dumb.

Another article trying to convince super delegates that Hillary isn’t more electable then Obama: Yeah McCain beats Obama with “dumb” white voters, but McCain beats Hillary too with those voters.

Besides, “Clinton’s negative ratings with that group have not really changed”, so don’t worry super delegates, Hillary is still as unelectable as she was before Obama’s pastor, terrorist friend, and unpatriotic wife hurt his electability.

The term “college education” became an oxymoron starting in the 1960s - an morphed into a “liberal / elitist introduction”

Ya gotta love how the “middle class” “blue collar” “son of a mill worker” types quickly turn into dupes when they vote against lib media’s preferred commie.

Black vote, hispanic vote, women’s vote, white male vote...blah, blah, what about the red white and blue vote?

The only thing this election is accomplishing is dividing us up so badly we’ll never fix it.

Dear tobyhill,

I'd say that based on Snob-ama’s previous words on the topic, the overall meme is that white folks generally who vote against Snob-ama are dumb. Thus, being a white folk who will vote against Snob-ama, should he make it to the general election, I must be dumb!

ALL white folk who vote against him are dumb! Don't you see that?!? It's so clear that we are all just clinging to religion, guns, and abortion, and voting against our REAL self-interests. And that makes us dumb! At least according to the world according to Snob-ama.
