After renewing his push to get District Attorney Ron Sutton to seek a warrant in Mexico for a fugitive wanted on a murder charge in the death of his wife in 1991, Kerr County Sheriff Rusty Hierholzer said Friday he'll foot the bill to translate the required documents into Spanish.
It needs to be done,' Hierholzer said of expanding the search across the border for Jose Garcia DeLaFuente, 67, aka Jose Isaac DeLaFuente.
The children of the victim, Mirella DeLaFuente, have criticized years of delay in seeking the Mexican warrant for their stepfather, and Sutton for not paying to translate the file with money from a seized asset account he controls.
Sutton said he won't pay the bill because it's Kerr County's responsibility. After speaking with Sutton on Thursday, Hierholzer said, He doesn't think Mexico will ever give (DeLaFuente) back, no matter what, because he's a Mexican citizen.'
BTT!
Ping!
If you want on, or off this S. Texas/Mexico ping list, please FReepMail me.
But to acknowledged that is embarrassing to Mexico and it's enabler, El Presidente Boosh, hence the machine gun armed JBT raiding "Dog" Chapman's home at oh dark-thirty.
What is it with Sutton’s? Johnny Sutton went out of his way to put Compean and Ramos behind bars, giving a drug mule immunity to come and testify. And now there is Ron Sutton who is basically saying, “too bad, try not to get killed by a Mexican because they are above the law”.
Hi WC! I was thinking the same thing. Wonder if Johnny and Ron are related? I’m going to see if I can find out...but bet you’re already on it ;)
just wanted to say thankyou for yor comments— I am the victims’s son
De nada.
