Mindanao, Islamic rebels drive more than a thousand Christians from their land

The Moro Islamic Liberation Front has forced about 1,200 Christian farmers to flee from a village in the southern province of Mindanao.

This is confirmed by the local police, who withdrew from the area in order to avoid an armed conflict with the rebels.

This situation deteriorated last week, when Malaysia withdrew its mediators from the province, the stronghold of the Muslim Filipinos.

Garcia, a local farmer, recounts: "The Islamic Front arrived suddenly and claimed their forefathers owned the land we are farming, and at gunpoint told us to leave. Police were not allowed entry, so they backed off to avoid bloodshed".

Anyone who says this is not a World War just hasn’t been paying attention. There are Muslim insurgencies in both the Philippines and Thailand that get very little mention. In both places, foreign funding play a role and that funding comes from places in the Middle East.

Hardly a word of this in the lamestream media. Imagine the hubbub if Christians had driven muslims out, or whites had driven blacks out, of anywhere. Double-standard loving swine.

Not long after 9/11, Bush sent U.S. forces into the Phillipines to fight Muslim terrorist/kidnappers. But President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo put very strict limits on what they could do. For instance, they were forbidden to deal with any terrorists other than the designated group.

Since then, less and less has been heard about this, and it would seem that either she has been bought off, or she lacks the will and courage to do anything about this festering problem.

The Phillipines have a large Christian majority, and they could tackle these Muslim insurgencies if they chose to do so. Unfortunately, it looks as if they have decided to sit back and watch them grow. Very disappointing. Muslim governments in the region have no such scruples about dealing with Christian minorities.

Can you honestly blame them for running away? A force with vastly superior numbers and firepower (and with a known history of wanton slaughter) comes storming out of the hills above any American town and I can guarantee the local police would turn tail and run too.

This isn't a job for even heavily armed police, this is a job for tanks, helicopter gunships and Marines.

While I'll admit, there's a more than even chance the police are in cahoots with the mohammedan scum, the fact that they ran instead of joining in the carnage speaks against it.

Paid for in large part by oil revenues. Who says energy independence is not part of a strategic plan to win this war???

Yep, just what we’ve come to expect from those kidders in the Religion of Pieces.

Surely, at some point the civilized world will wake up to the fact that this is a global conflict. It has been ongoing for over 1400 years. We are now seeing the latest surge in this bloody clash of cultures.

Islam in its present state is a cancer on humanity and needs to be excised.

Just another report, with a 1400 year history of such reports, of the ‘peaceful’ religion advancing its geographical hegemony using its central technique. While jihad is the central mechansim of advance, our US State dept., in its wisdom, has chosen to no longer officially recognize ‘jihad, etc’...again, pathetic. Islams’ enclaves are already in, and expanding, in all Western countries. Reports of Islamist enclaves in the US are plentiful...US govt. is supposed to be monitoring most of them...to what effect? ‘No terrorist attacks here’ is premature to rule out.

“Muslim governments in the region have no such scruples about dealing with Christian minorities.”

Because Islam subordinates Christianity and all other religions as inferior to the teachings of their pedophile prophet. Any and all tactics are acceptable to the Islamo-terrorists in the pursuit of the global caliphate.

Islam needs to be eradicated from the earth.

That funding comes from us in the form of sky high oil prices.
They claim that high prices are a result of world tension then turn around and fund that world tension.

“Muslim rebels expel over 1,000 Christians...”

I guess if there is a silver lining to this article; expelled Christians is better than beheaded Christians.

Global Jihad — another day.

“...expelled Christians is better than beheaded Christians.”

Christians who SHOOT BACK and kill the muzzie scum are MUCH better than either Expelled OR beheaded Christians.

Ooops...silly me...I forgot...the Phillippines government probably disarmed the people...the “law-abiding” people, that is.

And our DemCom party wants to do the same to us here.

Gee...wonder what they have in mind?

Better to die on your feet than live on your knees.

And one more little thing...the Phillippine Insurrection in the early 1900s - we were fighting the Moros THEN too. “Moro” means “Moslem”.

The term Moro (pl. Moros) originally meant Moors in Spanish, and were/are a Muslim Arab/Berber people of North Africa. In the Philippines, the name was bestowed by the Spaniards on the ethnic Malay people native to the southern Philippines who also had Islam as their religion.

What a coincidence...
