I woke up to 7 inches of new snow in Chubbuck, ID on May 1st. My wife was getting ready for work around 6 AM and asked me if it was really May 1st. I said yes. She said...look out the window. Most of it was melted off by late afternoon.

I had to sweep the 7 inches off the hood and windshield of my F150 to be able to drive to the store. That's just a "coating" by local standards.

You know the game is rigged when the scorekeepers turn into cheerleaders.

At this rate Florida will become polar bear habitat soon.

My daughter and I visited Mount Rushmore yesterday, then drove up to Rapid City and got onto the interstate - and off of it, as quickly as we could. What an adventure for folks from Georgia!
