“The question is, what is his definition of “conservative?”

A cross between Lieberman and Lindsay Graham.

I’ll either vote for them or write in, I will not vote for a surrender party like the McCain version of the Republican Party.

“That may be a choice in another ten years.
Maybe.”

I another ten years the GOP will be putting forth candidates in the mold of Ted Kennedy.

The only thing McCain will quash is his colostomy bag.

Perhaps.
I meant another party may have someone who could win in ten years if it could grow large enough.
There is no conservative “Perot” even right now as any kind of realistic viable option to McCain.

The Constitution party won’t take American half-way around the world to fight radical islam, but they would close the border in a very kick-ass fashion. Of course, there are those would not approve of closing the border aren’t there?

“He’s never been very fond of the First Amendment either.”

Man, you got that right too...I forgot about “McCain-Fiengold.”

Also, if you want to see what illegal aliens are doing to my beautiful state of Arizona, take a look at this:

I’ve seen this “in person” while hunting down near the Mexican border.

Fuhgeddabatit, Senor Juan.

"Saying" you will name conservative judges is chump change compared to what you MUST to do to court conservatives.

We demand Juan name conservatives with proven credentials to top positions in his campaign.

Juan must lose hernandez, the Azatlan sucker attached to his campaign.

Juan MUST denounce Reconquista NOW in all print and brodcast media venues.

Then we'll talk.

McCain has already taken up the fight for Illegal Immigrant Amnesty again. Is he totally insane?

He better renounce the global warming hoax and his history of gun control while he is at it.

We can furgit it. Juan would have to be dragged kicking and screaming and be forced into courting the GOP base.

He simply will not do that and he also will promise SCOTUS nominees like Alito and Roberts because he knows that in the end, he will allow his buddies like Fat Ted to determine who gets approved.

I have noticed McCain plays it safe if promising conservatives anything. He chooses to act conservative only on things he knows the Dems and RINOs in Congress will end up determining in the end. Abortion and SCOTUS appointments he can blame on Congressional Democrats when he fails to deliver as promised.

Thanks for the ping.... lord McCain might be slightly less liberal than the other two loons but not by much. He may not in his flesh life time realize that he will receive NO honor to take what is NOT his, redistribute to those who respond to his lawless invitation.

And the cleanup is costing taxpayers millions.

Unbelievable, and that's just the cost of cleaning up their garbage. Now add in education, health care, prison, welfare, and food stamps costs. All that just for cheap labor? I am glad to see Arizona is clamping down, they're proving once again that enforcement works.

Fear isn’t the right word.

TRUST

And he will never have that fully from conservatives.

However, he can make some pledges now and take some action too. He IS a sitting senator afterall.

I am voting for him, but I would rather feel better about it by November.

You're right.

It's not what he says, it's what he does. Trust is earned, not given, especially with someone who hasn't shown himself to be trustworthy in the past. McCain has ample opportunity to build up some good will with conservatives in the coming months.

I don't yet know that I will vote for him in November. I'm waiting to see what he does before then.
