The is it time for some there and other colleges to storm podiums and give them a taste of their own medicine?
More often than not, when bullies are stood up to,and bullid back, they stop their bullying.
Then is it time?
No, unfortunately it isn't. The cards were stacked in this event - take a look at those grinning cops with their collective thumb stuck in their favorite place. Smith has been like this for years - the mere invitation of a conservative is regarded as an impossible affront and the entire collective culture of the institution reacted.
Make no mistake about it - Smith and its like are lost. There is no respect for free speech there, there will be no action taken against the rioters and the entire place is snickering at the very idea of anyone challenging their moral supremacy. These are the first people to benefit from the protections afforded by academic freedom and the very last to grant it to others.
Any such violence enacted against the protected radicals would be ruthlessly repressed, charges filed, lawsuits tendered, and the campus media would be screaming about the new dawn of Nazism there. I have news for them - it's been around for a long time.
