Lest we forget:

"No Justice, No Peace" is Sharptonese for "Kill the Jews," based on context. Whenever Sharpton and his entourage chant it, Jews (Yankel Rosenbaum) or their employees (Freddy's Fashion Mart) tend to get killed.

Hasn’t Sharpton been arrested a few times before, or does he always get others to do his dirty work? How many times does he get to disturb the peace and violate our laws before can be put away for a good long time?

From a Sept 4, 2007, New York Post article titled: "Sean Bell Was Looking For Sex...". The piece sheds further light on the matter.

"According to a motion filed by the defense team, Detective Gescard Isnora said he saw Bell, 23, and his bachelor-party buddies exit the strip joint Club Kalua early that morning and proposition the woman as she talked to a man seated in an SUV.

The woman "refused to go to a hotel with them where they wanted to have sex with her," the court papers say.

An argument broke out, and the man in the SUV made several "unpleasant comments" to Bell's group, according to the documents.

Isnora said he heard Bell's pal Joseph Guzman yell, "Get my gun! Get my gun!" and Bell add, "Let's f- - - him up!"

(snip)

The papers say Isnora "saw Guzman reach down toward his waistband" after the trio got into a Nissan Altima, and yelled, "Police! Don't move!"

The car lurched forward, hitting Isnora's leg, and stopped in front of a van driven by Detective Michael Oliver. It then backed up into a wall before accelerating forward again and hitting the van.

"Convinced that if Guzman ever got to raise that hand, Detective Isnora would see a gun in it, he yelled, 'Gun!' and, 'He's got a gun!' and began firing," the motion states.

A cursory web search with the keyword phrase 'sharpton arrest record' didn't immediately lead to a clear listing per se, although it did turn up a number of interesting articles and valuable snippets, including this bit of info that I hadn't been aware of:

Note that I don’t refer to Al as “Reverend Sharpton.” Al was “ordained” as a minister at the age of ten, which tells me that any seminary he attended probably included graham crackers and milk, recess, and crossing guards.

1. Wait for a “black victimization” story to exploit.
2. Latch onto it like a hagfish latches onto a carcass.
3. Spew the usual racist victicrat babble on as many news outlets as possible.
4. Stage protests
5. Get arrested
6. Lather, rinse, re-grease, repeat.

From your link:

During 2007, Sharpton participated in a public debate with atheist Christopher Hitchens, during which Sharpton defended his religious faith and his belief in the existence of God.[21]

I did respect Hitchens for his mind, though he has taken positions I deeply reject.

The fact he actually got on a stage with this fool Sharpton, drops my respect for him several notches

Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Jane Fonda, and House Judiciary Committee chairman, John Conyers, are several of many prominent signers of the "World Can't Wait--Drive Out the Bush Regime" initiative (see list of endorsers include--Conyers' endorsement appears right after Ward Churchill's). World Can't Wait--Drive Out the Bush Regime" is an "anti-war" front for the Revolutionary Communist Party. According to the then LA police commissioner, the RCP were largely responsible for 'triggering' the Rodney King riots where some 58 mostly innocent people were killed.

From the website of the Revolutionary Communist Party, parent org behind World Can't Wait--Drive Out the Bush Regime (rwor.org or revcom.us):
"Tearing Up the U.S. Paper Tiger in Korea: How 300,000 Chinese Troops Snuck into Korea and Kicked the Ass of the U.S. Armed Forces" RW #1059, June 18, 2000:
http://rwor.org/a/v22/1052-059/1059/korea.htm

The RCP "Mission Statement":
"Create Public Opinion, Seize Power! We are preparing minds and organizing forces for the time when there is a major crack in the system, whenever it comes and wherever it comes from: an opening that makes it possible to bring the future Revolutionary Army of the Proletariat (R.A.P.) into the field and wage a revolutionary armed struggle that actually has a chance of winning. And we have said that building our party itself is the most important part of organizing forces for revolution. This is true now, and it is true looking forward to the creation of that future R.A.P. and the waging of that armed struggle. ":
http://revcom.us/a/v20/1000-1009/1000/barw.htm

And...

"Throughout its history, one of RCP's principal objectives has been to foment civil unrest in the United States. The most notable example of such efforts occurred on April 29, 1992, when RCP members looted and trashed the downtown and government districts of Los Angeles, triggering the infamous Rodney King riots. During the days immediately preceding the violence, RCP -- which maintained close ties to the L.A. gangs known as the Crips and the Bloods -- had circulated throughout South Central Los Angeles a leaflet featuring a statement by RCP National Spokesman Carl Dix, titled 'It's Right To Rebel' -- a quote popularized by Mao Zedong.

Encouraged by Dix, RCP activists helped lead the riots that would leave 58 people dead, more than 2,300 people injured, some 5,300 buildings burned, and $1 billion in property damaged or destroyed. On the ten-year anniversary of the rioting, RCP member Joseph Veale fondly recalled the violence as 'the most beautiful, the most heroic civil action in the history of the United States.'"

Ugh!

Indeed....disgusting, awful, fame-seekers and bandwagon-jumpers.

Considering that the Messiah / Deity Sean Bell was "unsuccessfully" attempting to contract the services of A PROFESSIONAL WHORE on the night when the police officers honorably, lawfully, properly and professionally put him down like the rabid dog that he apparently was, it begs the question as to whether he would actually have gone through with the original wedding to begin with.  It's so convenient when one can ride a dead person's coattails to fame and fortune, isn't it?  You won't get any of those pesky "bits of truth" interfering in the matter.

Also, considering that THE PROFESSIONAL WHORE apparently didn't want to do her chosen job when it came to Mr. Bell, it suggests that there 'may' have been something particularly awful about him.....something that repulsed even a PROFESSIONAL WHORE.

And these Leftists see no problem in holding him up as their martyr.

There was someone on one of these FR threads awhile back who was quite insistent that the whole “bachelor party” and “about to be married that day” theme is a total fraud to gain public sympathy. Does anyone recall that or know more about it? IIRC, the poster said it has been established that there was no “wedding” scheduled at all, that the supposed “fiance” had not been fitted for any wedding dress, and that Sean Bell was merely a 2-bit drug dealer pimped up by Al Sharpton into a posthumous martyr. Does anyone know about whether any facts have been established about Sean Bell, hero and martyr to the delusional left?

I remember seeing clips of those riots on TV and noting that it seemed organized.

One would smash the shop window and move on, then the looters moved in.

This pattern repeated itself, so I wonder if the window smasher was one of the R.A.P. bunch, and the rest was either more of the same group or one or two instigators followed by willing members of the general mob. It did not seem to take much 'instigation' once the shop windows were broken...

I sincerely hope so, and any 'regular' person who organized a simultaneous shutdown of multiple major highway arterials, bridges, tunnels and thoroughfares would wish that he had remained in bed that day.

how will he get away with this ?

Sharpton has been granted a perpetual 'get out of jail free' card because he has been Anointed as a "Civil Rights Campaigner" and therefore is immune to the laws that help to keep our society a safer and more congenial place.

Anyone who would dare to suggest that Sharpton be held to the same standards as everyone else will instantly find themselves labeled a RACIST!, will have his / her career destroyed, would have his / her home burned to the ground and may face jail time as a HATE CRIMINAL.

Such is the world that the Left has brought us....one that is obsessed with race, victimology and white guilt.

thanks for the reply,
but obviously nyc endorses mob rule.

Somebody in law enforcement should have the integrity to close sharpton down, once and for “all”,as in all of the law abiding people nationwide.
When you have to reroute your daily transit ride to school or work and have more on your mind due to this race baiting moron, something has to be done.
All I’ve read so far is they’re only charged with disorderly conduct.

“If you’re not going to lock up the guilty in this town I guess you have to lock up the innocent,” said Sharpton. “Where we go from there is anybody’s guess,” Rachel Noerdlinger, Sharpton’s spokeswoman, said later, adding that wherever protesters end up, “they’ll be arrested praying.”

Large crowds are expected for the midweek acts of civil disobedience. For the massive pray-in, Sharpton is asking protesters to gather Wednesday at 3 p.m. in at least six places around the city: 125th Street and Third Avenue; 60th Street and Third Avenue; 34th Street and Park Avenue; Varick and Houston streets; One Police Plaza; and House of the Lord Church on Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn.

Sharpton said the protesters would fan out from their meeting points, but he would not disclose their destinations.
+++++++++++++++++
this is more than a disgrace.

this is more than a disgrace.

Agreed on all counts, and upon retrospect and in light of new information acquired since my initial New York Post article posting here, I would in fact want to withdraw my earlier expressed encouragement for people to send the Police Commissioner a hearty thank you in this particular circumstance, for reasons that I'll now detail.

In the videos included along with this article,

wcbstv.com - Sharpton Arrested In Citywide 'Slowdown' Protests

the on-camera reporter says (paraphrased) that it was all a very organized affair, and it was organized down to the point of the 'protesters' handing the police a list of people who had indicated a willingness to be arrested.  Those persons stepped forward and were duly arrested.  This was not a 'riot' that was bravely put down by New York's Finest; it was a manufactured event, from start to finish, done with the assistance and blessing of New York's political administration.

If true, this was all a mutual little dance between the City of New York and Al Sharpton.  I therefore have zero respect for the Commissioner, a politician, who apparently aided Sharpton in shutting down the City and causing untold strife for perhaps millions of people, most of whom are probably far more honest and virtuous than he has proven himself to be..

I don't blame the regular police officers....this sort of thing is beyond their control and they are only able to do their best with the situation that's handed them by the politicians

I’ve been sick for the past few days and couldn’t even sleep yesterday afternoon because of all of the helicopters above the Police HQ/Brooklyn Bridge area, which is just north of here.

Too bad that the “arrests” were farcical, with people deciding if they wished to be “arrested” and lining up for it. The NYPD should have ignored them and just gone after the instigators.
