Hillary Clinton is still raising bucks and wearing out her campaign pedometer in her effort to become the Democratic presidential nominee, but even her own campaign is acknowledging that her days are numbered.
A columnist at The Huffington Post reported Thursday that a senior campaign official and Clinton confidante said a Democratic nominee will be chosen by June 15. Barack Obamas campaign, meanwhile, announced its plan to declare victory on May 20, after he wraps up a majority of the pledged delegates in the Democratic nominating process.
Clinton campaign chairman Terry McAuliffe on Thursday compared the nomination process to Game 7 of the World Series. He said the game needs to play out, and voters are the ones to decide. But he told morning news shows that he doesnt think the nomination process will drag on until the convention.
In fact, it will all be over within a week or two after June 3, he said.
Clinton told donors Wednesday night at a Washington, D.C., fund-raiser that netted her about $500,000, I am staying in this race. Telling them shes been counted out before, she attempted to link her electoral struggles today to those she faced before winning the New Hampshire primary in January.

Re: Hillary Clinton is still raising bucks
Does this include the $$ she loans herself?
“Barack Obamas campaign, meanwhile, announced its plan to declare victory on May 20”. Thats a great plan. My sisters used to do the same with me when I was a kid and we were playing Monopoly. They would just quit half way through the game and say that they had won!
Good point she can’t quit until she get her money back.
I hope that senior campaign officials are certified beyond Level 1 in ashtray ducking.
Elections are unpredictable. One stupid move or skeleton in the closet could bury Obama. Hillary is smart to stay in the race.
I agree, anything can happen between now and then, thats why the media in the tank for Obama want her out, we're still finding out who Obama is. I have a feeling there may be more skeletons.
