When my boys were that age, I encouraged them to check out the assets of good looking, sexy females...I wanted to do my part to make sure they had an interest in the ‘correct’ gender...

Well, one would want one’s boys to be boys. On the otherhand teaching them to look at women like meat doesnt really prepare them to be good husbands or fathers. It prepares them to be good porn consumers. Or maybe that is ok with you.
I assume you would also agree that teenage girls are old enough to decide if they want some male attention. After all girls mature quicker than boys.
