If it was, two years ago McCain could have been prosecuted for saying we needed to talk to Hamas (and yes there's video of it - he gave an interview two years ago where he talked about talking directly with Hamas, and I have a feeling the Democrats are going to unload on McCain over this).
I'm not disturbed that McCain said we needed to talk to Hamas two years ago, I'm disturbed that it will play right into Obama's hands and his crap about how "we need change".
