But the Missouri Supreme Court struck down the photo ID requirement as an unconstitutional burden on voting rights. It noted the IDs were not truly free, because there was a cost for the birth certificates or other underlying documents people might need to obtain the government-issued identification.”

The ID was free but the stupid judge said it was still an undue burden because they had to pay for birth certificates. Of course, if they need birth certificates for anything else, it wouldn’t be an undue burden. Asshat judges.

Any idea if this could be taken to Scotus or are they going to have to do this amendment thing?
