Bravo! I love the Che shirt story—I hope you gave the woman apoplexy! It is just amazing how their minds work—like we don’t have and love pets too? Or that we can’t appreciate the sighting of an indigo bunting in Poughkeepsie NY? It just floors me sometimes!

Add to that the fact that Owls are about the most effective and deadly predators. at least in terms of kill ratio, make ‘em even more appropriate to be hanging out on the deck of a warship. They’re only cute if you are bigger than they are, otherwise you have less chance of survival than a man in the desert, unarmed, with an f-18 gunning for him.
Yeah, libs never cease to amaze me at how much growing up they need to do. They have SO many stereotypes combined with projecting their own prejudices on others.
