To: KoRn; pissant

I’m no fan of McCain, but he may useful as a transitional figure. We need him to keep the Federal Judiciary safe, especially with three more Supreme Court justices likely to retire. The future of the party has to be its grass roots, not the DC Establishment. That’s how we will find our way. But McCain can hold the line in the meantime.

Now that’s the dumbest thing I’ve heard all week. You have no reason to believe that a President McCain will nominate conservative Justices. And if his past record is any indication, he won’t. Mr. Go-Along-To-Get-Along will nominate whomever he things will make it though a Senate confimation without a fuss.

There’s no way he gets to pick conservative judges (not that he would anyway) with the Dems firmly in control of the Senate. A conservative nominee won’t have a prayer.
