I post this with a lump in my throat. I made lifetime friends here .... at the Finest.
I feel so guilty for being away for so much of the time. I should have made time to stop by to say hello.
When I read Billie’s mail, I cried.
I hope this is not good-bye; I look forward to seeing you all again .... either at Amy’s or on another thread.
I also look forward to any special future threads.
Thank all of you for the many years of enjoyment and friendship.

Oh, Amy, that is exactly how I feel! I feel that I have let Billie and Finest down. I hate to see the Finest end. So many good memories here, but I do understand the reasons behind the decision.
Billie, you have done such a wonderful job, for so many years, keeping the Finest going. It's been "home" for many of us. We are indebted to you for your dedication to the Finest. No one could have done it better.
But I know we aren't saying goodbye. We will all see each other in the other "rooms" of FR where friends gather.
Thank you to all the hosts and hostesses, sistahs and good friends who supported this thread for so many years. You are all special to me and I am hugging all of you in my heart.
Good thing Amy's Place has lots of room - may need to shuffle some of that furniture to get us all in though. :)
